STEAM

STEAM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, art and math.

Our incredible STEAM program is designed to increase children's interest and knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art and math, building on what young children already know and are capable of doing. Sandi Eisig, our fabulous STEAM teacher, gives all of our children opportunities to develop problem solving skills, ask questions, investigate, create, and experience wonder and joy in science!

Our STEAM program focuses on the 4 C’s:

  • Creativity: Innovation and personal expression

  • Collaboration: Working with and leading others to solve problems.

  • Critical Thinking: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information and solve problems.

  • Communication: Listening and presenting.

Children have the opportunity to use microscopes to examine objects more closely, cameras to capture and document, a light table to enhance sensory play and many other materials to build, create and design.
